Here’s an unpublished comic that the talented Elliott Johnson and I made a long time ago. It was exhibited at Denton’s Good Bad Art Collective back around 2000-2001-ish I think. I did some minor clean ups on it in 2010 to submit it to comics publishers for anthologies but ended up being unpublished. It has new meanings to me now in this dark period we’re going through.
My new site.
So I finally have an updated website. It’s something I’ve put off for years as I’m not code-savvy and my early sites were built in Golive and Dreamweaver in a much older HTML era. I opted to try out Squarespace as it had the design aesthetic I liked and the user-friendly templates are flexible enough for my needs. Also, I heard good things from artist friends.
This site will mainly be an archive/portfolio of my artwork, comics, and illustrations. I’m also adding a blog so I can post news and new work as well possibly write about other interests. Like a lot of people, over the years I gradually let Facebook and social media fill in the space of a personal website. I thought it would be good to get back to putting stuff up on my own site rather than on the social media Zuckerberg-oply of Facebook and Instagram. Plus it’ll also be a good outlet to encourage me to make more work to post. My Polypop site will stay as it is for now. It’s really an archive of a time period of work by me and my friends. I might expand in the future but it really needs rebuilding as well. Thanks for visiting.
